Experience and Background

Don has lived in Arlington all of his life. He graduated in 1987 from Southwest Texas State ( now known as Texas State University) with a degree in finance. In 1990 he entered the insurance business and began learning life and health insurance principals; eventually focusing on group health insurance, employee benefits and individual life insurance. In 1995, Don joined Coble Cravens Financial Services in Arlington – a local firm with deep ties to the community afforded him the opportunity to get in business and get involved.

With a focus on health insurance and moreover, group health, he’s seen the industry go through many changes but Don sees the constants as well – integrity, follow through and determination to serve his clients as well as he can. Throughout the process, he communicates in detail, the how’s, what’s and whys and after the sale is made, he’s there for service – “ I’ll either fix it or explain it” is a common characterization of what he does.

Over the years, Don has found the best relationships happen when working with business owners that appreciate a consultative approach, and want to be a part of the process but place confidence in the people they engage to provide solutions. This approach has served his business well with good business and many good friends. Don takes a hand’s on approach and always tries to think outside the box.

Being an Arlington native, he’s proud of the remarkable growth and progress in his hometown but also recognizes that our economy is not only Arlington but Dallas Fort Worth, the Metroplex, North Texas and beyond. Whether its relationships or geographic boundaries  – we work better when we come together for a bigger better outcome – much like DFW Business Resources!

Don and his wife Cristy have a wonderful daughter, Olivia that is finishing her Master in Accounting at the University of Mississippi ( Hotty Toddy) and they also have a pretty cool bernedoodle named Archie.
